Letters of George Crabbe to various recipients: (1) letter, 1794, of George Crabbe to Edmund Cartwright, junior; (2) letters, ? 1813 (WM)-1834, of George Crabbe to John Murray II; (3) letter, 1826, of George Crabbe to his son, George Crabbe; (4) manuscript copy, ?3rd quarter of 19th century, of a letter, 1819, of George Crabbe to ?Henry Colburn. The copy is in the hand of Whitwell Elwin. Letters concerning George Crabbe: (5) letters, 1855-1856, of Charles Hamilton to William Fitzpatrick concerning the sale by Hamilton to Fitzpatrick of manuscripts by George Crabbe; (6) receipt, 1856, in respect of £4.10.0 paid by William Fitzpatrick to Charles Hamilton for the purchase of manuscripts by George Crabbe. The receipt has been annotated to show that Fitzpatrick resold the manuscripts to John Murray III in 1863; (7) letter, 1926, of Alice Orr to John Murray IV, enclosing a lock of the hair of George Crabbe. |
