Formal documents, December 1943, relating to the transfer of the rights and the entitlements in the works of the late William Smith from the signatories to the documents to John Murray, publishers .Folios 31-34: Declaration, 15 December 1943, made by Harold Clifford Smith and witnessed by Norman Kent. Folio 31. The declaration was made in relation to two documents: (i) deed, 12 December 1943, transferring rights from the signatories to John Murray, publishers (folio 32); (ii) receipt, 12 December 1943, in respect of royalties paid by John Murray, publishers, to the signatories (folio 33).
